Spotify's Royalty Overhaul for 2024
Spotify plans to restructure its royalty model in Q1 2024, targeting a redirection of USD $1 billion to genuine artists over five years.

Highlights:

1. Tracks must meet an annual stream threshold to earn royalties.

2. Distributors face penalties for fraudulent uploads.

3. Non-music tracks require minimum play-time for royalties.

Will stream farming be on the chopping block? Only time will tell.

TikTok's First Live Music Event! 
TikTok announces 'TikTok In The Mix' on Dec 10, 2023, at Sloan Park, Mesa, Arizona. Stream it globally on TikTok Live.

Star-studded Lineup:

Tickets go on pre-sale on TikTok from Oct 27, with general sale on Nov 2. Part of ticket proceeds will go to charity.
