I've been mulling over an idea... I'd love to hear what you think. Lately, we've been diving into a topic that's close to my heart: back catalogs. You know, those timeless tracks that were released ages ago, just waiting to be rediscovered. I'm a huge fan of old music, across pretty much every genre. While we've been spotlighting fresh, up-and-coming artists—those we've had the pleasure of chatting with, those who inspire us, and those whose vibes we can't get enough of—I can't help but feel there's something magical about revisiting the classics.

Let's delve deeper into the influence of Ramsey Lewis. You may not realize it, but Lewis has been a significant presence in the music you listen to even today. While his impact may not always be direct, his inspiration runs deep through various genres and styles of music. If you are a bit older, you might notice that certain hooks and melodies in contemporary songs sound familiar, echoing the innovative sounds that Lewis pioneered. Incredible artist with amazing music and one of my favorite drummers, who I believe is truly underrated. His talent and skill behind the drum set are simply phenomenal. To give you a taste of his style, I have included a video of Redd Holt performing one of his remarkable pieces. Watching him in action is a real treat, and I hope you enjoy this tune as much as I do.
